Preparing for delivery
We pack each Canopy Pendant with the shade, canopy, cord set, fixing kit, and clear fitting instructions. You’ll receive a tracking update once it leaves our Woodstock studio, with most deliveries arriving by bakkie or courier depending on your location. For larger orders to estates or hospitality venues, we coordinate a delivery window to suit your building programme and minimise disruptions.
Getting ready on site
Before installation, it helps to check your ceiling height and send us any site photos or architect’s drawings. Our team can advise on optimal drop length for your table or bar. Make sure the ceiling junction box is ready and any wiring is certified safe. The pendant is designed for a single fixing point, suitable for both concrete slabs and timber ceilings.
If you’re retrofitting into an older home or hospitality space, let us know about any tricky surfaces or access issues so we can prepare the right anchors and adaptors.
Fitting and first week care
On the day, the pendant is assembled on-site, with the brass canopy covering the ceiling junction and the cord trimmed to the required drop. We recommend using a qualified electrician for final connections. Once fitted, dust the birch shade gently and avoid handling the brass canopy with wet hands to prevent marks.
