Delivery to Studio or site
We deliver frames countrywide, either direct to your gallery, studio or via our showroom bays in Joburg, Durban, Pretoria and Cape Town. For larger orders, we’ll arrange bakkie drop-off with protective wrapping and instructions for unboxing. Frames arrive fully assembled, ready for immediate hanging. If you’re collecting from us in Woodstock, we’ll show you how to handle the brass rail and fit your textile before you leave.
- Protective wrapping for transport
- Delivered assembled and ready
- In-person handover if collecting
Preparing your display space
Make sure your wall or hanging system is ready before delivery. The open rail design means textiles can be slid on from one end, then locked in place with a small grub screw (included). For wall mounting, we recommend two small hooks or a single French cleat. If you’re hanging multiple frames, mark out your arrangement with painter’s tape to check sightlines and spacing.
Let us know if your wall is brick, plaster, or drywall, as we can send suitable fixings with the order. If access is tricky or you’re working above 2.5 metres, we can advise on simple ladder setups and safe lifting.
- Check wall type and fixings
- Mark layout before hanging
- Use included grub screw for rail
First week: care and contact
After first hanging, avoid removing the textile for the first week so the frame can settle and the finish acclimates to your climate. Wipe the frame down with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any travel dust. Any stickiness on the rail from handling will disappear with a quick buff using a soft cloth. If you notice any movement or squeak in the rail after a few days, let us know, sometimes a quick tweak on site sorts it out.
Before install day, please send us the final textile dimensions, photos of the display wall, and any height restrictions or obstacles. This helps us pack the right fixings and tools, and means install will run smoothly.
