Showroom expansion
Mall bays and design precinct showrooms across SA.
Creation Africa expands showroom presence across South Africa
Creation Africa is pleased to announce the expansion of our physical presence with new showroom bays now open in Rosebank, Menlyn, Gateway Umhlanga, Canal Walk, Tyger Valley, Brooklyn Design Square and at the V&A Waterfront. These curated spaces join our Woodstock atelier, where our team continues to design and fabricate small furniture, lighting pieces and objects for a wide range of interior spaces.
The new showroom bays are set up for hands-on viewing and consultation. Visitors will find signature forms like the Veld Tray, Karoo Screen, Baobab Lamp and Studio Bench, all crafted in our Woodstock workshop. Our Pretoria showroom at Brooklyn Design Square is hosted by Ms Lerato Molefe, while other locations are supported by our local team and collaborating makers.
Appointments for private viewing or design discussions at the atelier in Woodstock remain available, and walk-in visits are welcome at all mall and design precinct bays.
Implications for designers, lodges, galleries and homeowners
With our expanded footprint, architects, interior designers, gallery owners, lodge managers and homeowners can now experience our forms in person throughout South Africa. This means easier access to our range for specification, tactile sampling and project discussions, whether you are working on a Karoo guesthouse, Lowveld lodge or a Joburg gallery foyer.
Our forms, such as the Canopy Pendant, Harbour Shelf and Textile Panel Frame, are designed to work in diverse settings from braai rooms to coworking spaces. The new showrooms make it practical to view finishes, proportions and detail up close before making decisions. Ms Zanele Mokoena, Managing Director, says: 'Seeing the way our work responds to light and space is key. We want our community to have that experience in every major centre.'
Images and interview opportunities for Press
Journalists are invited to contact atelier@creationafrica.co.za with 'Press' in the subject line for access to high-resolution images of the showrooms, fabrication process and signature forms such as the Foyer Plinth, Maker Mark Brass and Journal Box Edition. Interview opportunities with Ms Zanele Mokoena (Managing Director) and other team members are available on request. Visuals can be tailored to illustrate stories about South African design, regional making techniques and our studio’s collaborations in Woodstock and beyond.
