Arriving at your space
We deliver Karoo Screens by local bakkie in the Cape Town area or trusted carrier for long-distance orders. Each screen ships assembled, wrapped in padding to protect the motif edges and feet. Before delivery, we’ll confirm access points at your site, wide doors or a goods lift if the screen needs to move upstairs. On arrival, our team will position the screen in your chosen location, checking that it sits level on existing flooring.
Setting up and settling in
Little preparation is needed. Ensure the floor is clear of grit and the area is swept. Place the Karoo Screen at least 200 mm from walls for airflow behind the felt, especially in humid areas. If you expect high traffic, we can add discreet floor pads or stabilisers on delivery, just let us know when confirming your order. After placement, avoid dragging the screen, especially over tiled or uneven floors. For the first week, keep shoes and bags away from the feet to let the brass settle in and prevent scuffing.

Before we arrive
To ensure a smooth install, please send us a photo or sketch of the intended location, along with any flooring details. If your lobby or studio has underfloor cabling or unusual skirting, let us know in advance. For multiple screens, we’ll ask for a simple floor plan showing intended divisions.
